Antonio Giovinazzi gets seven FP1 sessions with Haas

Ferrari reserve driver Antonio Giovinazzi will take part in seven practice sessions with Haas in 2017, the team confirmed on Wednesday. Giovinazzi made his Formula 1 bow with Sauber in Australia, in place of Pascal Wehrlein, who was deemed unfit in the wake of his Race of Champions crash, and the Italian remained in the cockpit for the next event in China. Giovinazzi participated in testing for Ferrari in Bahrain and will now sample Haas' VF-17 in first practice sessions at Grands Prix in Britain, Hungary, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Brazil and Abu Dhabi.
