Renault rules out major engine update

– Renault has denied Red Bull's suggestion that it will bring a major engine update to the next round in Azerbaijan, saying an overhaul will not come until 2018.Red Bull team boss Christian Horner stated earlier this week that Renault was on course to deliver a performance step at Baku, following reliability-related delays.However, Cyril Abiteboul, Renault Sport's Managing Director, says it is wrong of Red Bull to expect a "magic bullet" this season, with only small updates planned."It was Red Bull who said that there would be an upgrade [in Baku]," commented Abiteboul, in an interview with the official Formula 1 website."There are upgrades permanently, every...
