Pierre Gasly rues absence of performance run during F1 testing

Red Bull reserve driver Pierre Gasly revealed he was slightly disappointed not to be able to carry out a low-fuel performance run as he conducted test duties in the RB13 at the Hungaroring. Gasly returned to current-spec Formula 1 machinery for the first time since the Bahrain test in April and completed 107 laps to finish in 10th place overall. However, the Frenchman was left to rue being unable to sample the car at its optimum potential. “For sure it wasn’t the most exciting run plan today but testing is quite limited for the team so they always use it to test and try and collect as much data as possible,” he said. “I have been pushing for some performance runs...
