‘Norris is a potential star of the future'

Eric Boullier believes 17-year-old Lando Norris could be a future Formula 1 star after an impressive debut on Wednesday. The McLaren junior driver, who is challenging for the title in his first year of European Formula 3, took to the F1 test arena on Wednesday behind the wheel of the MCL32. He completed 91 laps with a best time of 1:17.385, which put him second fastest for the day, 0.271s behind championship leader Sebastian Vettel 'Lando has impressed us all with his maturity, professionalism and speed, and has got to grips very quickly with the car in only his first outing in the MCL32,' said Boullier.
