Kvyat waiting on Toro Rosso confirmation

Daniil Kyvat believes he has done 'everything I could' to retain his Toro Rosso seat for next season. Although the Russian driver has managed just four points this season, six less than his current penalty points tally, he is hoping to stay on at Toro Rosso next season. The team has stated earlier this year that they would be happy to retain both Kvyat and Carlos Sainz for 2018, however, as Kyvat is still waiting for an official decision.
