Qualifying delayed after Grosjean crash
– Qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix has been delayed indefinitely due to persistent wet weather, after Romain Grosjean crashed out of Q1.Rain has been falling continuously at Monza since the morning, leading to a truncated FP3 session and qualifying sessions for the GP3 and Porsche Supercup events being cancelled.Formula 1 qualifying commenced at 14:00 local time as scheduled, after a pre-session inspection in the Safety Car by Bernd Maylander – and all bar Fernando Alonso took to the circuit.However, after just four minutes, Haas' Grosjean lost control of his VF-17 along the pit straight and careered backwards into the barriers, before spinning across the track and brushed the...
