Mercedes confirms Bottas for 2018 season

– Mercedes has confirmed that Valtteri Bottas will continue to race for the team in Formula 1 next season, alongside Lewis Hamilton, after signing a one-year extention, completing the outfit's 2018 driver line-up.Bottas joined Mercedes from Williams in January as a replacement for World Champion Nico Rosberg and racked up victories in Russia and Austria, and currently holds third in the standings.Mercedes repeatedly hinted that it was keen to keep hold of Bottas and the Finn has duly signed a one-year extension, meaning he will continue with the squad into 2018."I am honoured and proud to continue to work with Mercedes in 2018 and to remain part of the family," said...
