Toro Rosso confirms multi-year Honda deal

– Toro Rosso will switch to using Honda power units next year, in the wake of McLaren severing its ties with the manufacturer.Honda had intended to enter 2018 with McLaren and Sauber, but the former lost faith and opted to switch to Renault, while the latter cancelled its plans and renewed with Ferrari.Toro Rosso consequently emerged as a viable alternative for Honda prior to the summer break, aiding the financial prospects of the Faenza team, and ostensibly allowing Red Bull to evaluate the Japanese power plants.It marks the fourth year in a row that Toro Rosso has changed its engine partner between seasons, having moved from Renault, to Ferrari, back to Renault, and now onto...
