Sergio Perez stays with Force India for 2018

Force India has announced that it will field an unchanged driver line-up in 2018, after Sergio Perez signed a contract extension with the team. Perez had been expected to commit to Force India for a fifth season and ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, the Silverstone-based squad confirmed that it had reached an agreement with the Mexican. Perez currently holds seventh place in the standings, three points and one position clear of team-mate Esteban Ocon, who is on a multi-year contract with Force India. “Staying with Force India was always my priority,' said Perez.
