Palmer ‘just wants somewhere to enjoy racing’ outside F1
Jolyon Palmer has managed to survive the three-way Toro Rosso-Red Bull-Renault negotiations to see out this season but without an obvious F1 drive for next year the British driver says he’s looking elsewhere for the ‘longer term’ race seat. Speaking about his options for 2018, Palmer said that F1 is an insecure, year-on-year position for him is his current situation and is keen to find stability to develop his racing. "If I’m out of F1 at the end of the year then it’ll be a new chapter and I’d obviously want to put everything into it and be there for the longer term,” Palmer said.
