Vettel leads shortened Malaysia FP2 after Grosjean crash

Sebastian Vettel closed out Friday's Formula 1 practice sessions for the Malaysian Grand Prix at the top of the timesheets after setting the pace in FP2, with the session being shortened after a hefty crash for Romain Grosjean. Vettel bounced back from a rainy FP1 to set the pace through second practice in the dry, turning in a best lap time of 1:31.261 to head up a one-two finish for Ferrari. Teammate Kimi Raikkonen underpinned Vettel's pace by taking P2, albeit six-tenths of a second off the pace, with Red Bull emerging as Ferari's closest challenger through the session.
