Toro Rosso confirms Hartley for Austin

– Toro Rosso has confirmed that Brendon Hartley will make his Formula 1 debut with Toro Rosso at the United States Grand Prix, in place of Pierre Gasly, who compete for the Super Formula title at Suzuka.Hartley was part of Red Bull's junior academy and sampled Formula 1 machinery, most recently with Mercedes in 2012, before switching to the World Endurance Championship.Hartley was crowned WEC champion in 2015 and currently leads the 2017 standings, having taken overall victory at the Le Mans 24 Hours this year.Hartley will step into the STR12 vacated by Gasly, who made his Formula 1 debut in Malaysia, before remaining in the car in Japan, alongside Carlos Sainz Jr.Toro Rosso...
