Perez fuming over Magnussen block
Sergio Perez has berated Haas' Kevin Magnussen for ruining his qualifying session at the United States Grand Prix after blocking him off in Q1. Magnussen, who was bottom of the qualification standings, impeded the Force India driver in the very early stages at Turn 13. The Dane was on a cool-down lap and claims that his team did not tell him Perez was on a hot lap behind him. Magnussen has since apologised and is fully expecting a grid penalty for Sunday's race, but Perez once again vented his frustration back in the paddock as he could only salvage P10. “It’s extremely disappointing.
