New F1 logo to be unveiled after Abu Dhabi GP

The new Formula 1 logo is expected to be revealed after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with Chairman Chase Carey promising “a fresh energy to the sport”. The 2017 season finale in Abu Dhabi marks the end of Liberty Media’s first year in control of F1 with a number of changes being trialled with the aim of encouraging fresh investment and interest in the sport after the Bernie Ecclestone era. While some of the new ideas have received a mixed reception, including the F1 drivers entrance at the United States Grand Prix, Liberty’s ideas have been met with positivity by teams and drivers.
