Formula 1 to span 360 degrees in 2018

All F1 cars will run with 360-degree cameras mounted on the front of the chassis next season, a move which should nicely enhance the fans' viewing experience. The miniature camera was trialed at the Singapore Grand Prix by F1 technology partner Tata, and the results delighted FOM which have made the device mandatory for next season. Viewers may miss the classical on-board view in 2018 however as the presence of the Halo cockpit safety device will force cameras to be moved to less obstructed areas. Still, fans will enjoy a different perspective of F1 racing next year.
