Sir Stirling Moss announces retirement from public life
Motorsport legend Sir Stirling Moss has announced his retirement from public life at the age of 88. Moss, who is often considered the greatest Formula 1 driver never to win a championship, spent 134 days in hospital last year after he fell ill whilst holidaying in Singapore. Therefore he has announced, through a statement issued by his son, that he will retire from public life to spend more time with his family.
