F1 announces extended TV deal for Sky Italia

Formula 1 will continue to be shown live in Italy on Sky Italia until the end of the 2020 season following the signing of a fresh agreement announced on Thursday. In the latest new broadcasting contract to be announced by F1, Sky Italia will continue to carry live coverage of the championship via its Sky Sport F1 channel, as well as showing the Formula 2, GP3 and Porsche Supercup support series. The new deal also ensures that at least four grands prix will be show free-to-air in Italy each year, including the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, as well as additional coverage via digital platforms and social media.
