First of the firsts Down Under

Four months after Abu Dhabi, Formula 1 was back with the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, the first of 21 races and that was just the first of the firsts. The wait was almost over as Formula 1 fans queued to see their favourite drivers take the walk of glory in Melbourne. Daniel Ricciardo was, as to be expected, a firm favourite as the Aussie signed autograph after autograph for his adoring public. Drivers' helmets  were laid out for the McLaren pairing of Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne and also offered a handy weather forecast… sunshine all day!
