Haas F1 admits mistakes made due to unfamiliar pressure on mechanics
Haas F1 Team principal Guenther Steiner outlines what went wrong for both its cars to retire from the 2018 Australian Grand Prix after pit stop mistakes. Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean were on sequence for points before their pit stops in Melbourne. But, seconds after Magnussen’s he was forced to stop out on track with a loose wheel. Grosjean pitted two laps later with the exact same result. Haas were fined 10,000 fine for the unsafe pit stops but it was the lost points that hurt the most. Steiner told Bild newspaper: 'We just didn't attach the wheels correctly. 'It's hard to believe that it happened to both cars, but it happened.' He admitted the mistakes could have been made due...
