Hamilton worried about Miami Grand Prix 'distractions'
Lewis Hamilton joked that he would struggle to win a Miami Grand Prix owing to the numerous distractions on hand in the party city. Liberty Media confirmed plans to introduce a Miami street race in the 2019 season, with local councillors set for a vote over the proposals. Liberty are keen to add second grands prix in the United States and China as they expand the Formula 1 calendar - CEO Chase Carey has claimed a 25-race schedule is the ultimate aim for Liberty. The intention to add a street race in downtown Miami was confirmed this week, although some local residents have voiced opposition to the event.
