Liberty say European F1 races are safe

Formula 1 chief executive Chase Carey says Liberty Media remains committed to the sport's traditional roots in Europe as extra races in the United States and China re sought to bolster the calendar. Plans to stage a Miami Grand Prix on a street track were confirmed this week, as Liberty aim for a 25-race calendar. It has been reported that the new race in Miami could replace the Baku City Circuit on the calendar, despite the Azerbaijan race providing two thrilling events in as many years.
