Wolff denies Ricciardo rumours

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has played down rumours that Daniel Ricciardo could make a sensational move to Mercedes at the end of the 2018 season. The Australian is out of contract with Red Bull at the end of the current season and Mercedes has been touted as a possible destination. Despite winning already in 2018, it is regarded that Red Bull isn't the team to stay with due to their inability to truly fight for a world championship and with Mercedes and Ferrari both rumoured to be assessing Ricciardo for a potential 2019 drive, rumours have flown around about a possible move.
