Sainz proud of Renault's performance

Carlos Sainz has announced he is proud of Renault’s earlier season performance after finishing 7th in the Spanish Grand Prix. Performing in front of home fans, he managed to gain 2 places on his qualifying position. He’s kept his 100% record of scoring points in Barcelona.  “We can be very proud of what we’ve achieved this weekend, as this track was not ideal for us,” said Sainz.  “We turned things around well since Friday, had a very good start, and managed to finish 7th, which I think is the best we could hope for. “It feels great to get another result at home.”  Renault is leading the mid-field battle by just 1 point....
