McLaren to meet IndyCar teams to discuss possible entry

McLaren CEO Zak Brown is set to visit IndyCar teams before the Canadian Grand Prix to discuss a possible entry by the team for 2019. McLaren debuted in IndyCar last year when Fernando Alonso drove an Andretti car as part of a partnership between both teams. Speaking to the official F1 website, Brown explained the recent acquisition of Gil de Ferran, a two-time IndyCar champion and Indy 500 winner and possible plans that might lead to. "He's a special advisor. We brought him in, and he reports to me. He's helping with our young drivers, notably with Stoffel and Lando.
