Fernando Alonso to notch up Grand Prix number 300

McLaren driver Fernando Alonso will notch up Grand Prix number 300 this weekend in Canada. He made his debut 17 years ago in Australia. The 36-year-old has totalled 32 wins throughout his lengthy career. He comes up just short of his 100th podium. As is well documented, the Spaniard has struggled in the last four years whilst driving an underpowered McLaren.  His last win came in his final home Grand Prix for Ferrari in 2013. Which for a driver of Fernando’s talents, a win is well overdue. He’s now on the pursuit to win motorsports triple crown having already won the Monaco Grand Prix back to back in 06 and 07.  Last season Alonso missed the Monaco race to take part...
