Grid Penalties May Not Hit Daniel Ricciardo's Canadian GP Weekend
Adrian Newey spoke last week about a possible penalty for Daniel Ricciardo during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. Newey spoke about the damaged MGU-K in Monaco and that it might need to be replaced.
Grid Penalties May Not Hit Daniel Ricciardo's Canadian GP Weekend
Ricciardo said that the grid penalty can be avoided during this race. The Australian will use an old MGU-K, so he can delay his penalty.
"Currently no, so no, the answer is no (penalty). If something happens in practice and we are forced to change something, then I will get a penalty. But for now, we still have enough parts to run, and if it runs reliably we will do the whole weekend with it."
