Ricciardo pleased to see the back of triple header

Ricciardo has missed out on a podium in each of the last four races after finishing fifth place in today’s British Grand Prix, with the last time he stepped on the rostrum being his dominant Monaco Grand Prix win. The Australian suffered a DRS failure during qualifying and retired at the last race in Austria, where team mate Max Verstappen won. Ricciardo admits that he is happy that F1’s first ever triple header is over. He picked up 22 points from the three races, less than one race win’s worth. “We’ve had bits and pieces not go our way for the last three, so we’ll just try and turn it around in Hockenheim and Budapest but looking forward to a week away...
