Force India would allow Ocon to Renault

Force India admit they would allow Esteban Ocon to move to Renault for next season if it is the correct thing to do. Ocon is contracted to Mercedes, so is currently on loan at Force India - and in recent weeks, Motorsport.com understands that Mercedes are keen for Ocon to move to Renault in a bid to improve his development. Renault would benefit from this as they have been looking for a replacement for Carlos Sainz Jr, whose future is uncertain due to his contract with Red Bull.
