‘Merc customers can't complain about Ferrari'

Haas boss Guenther Steiner has said that Mercedes customers have no room to complain about Ferrari's gains this season. The American outfit have propelled themselves forward in the 2018 campaign and currently occupy fifth in the World Constructors' Championship – 16 points behind fourth-placed Renault. Haas have benefitted from a more powerful engine from Ferrari with Sauber also showing signs of improvement with a current-spec power unit from the Scuderia fitted in. Haas' rise has irked some other teams in the paddock over the course of the season, but Steiner has said that the complaints are pretty rich considering Mercedes power has dominated over the last few years....
