Ferrari, Sauber reserve Antonio Giovinazzi handed Petit Le Mans chance

Ferrari and Sauber Formula 1 reserve Antonio Giovinazzi will return to sportscar action at this year’s Petit Le Mans. Giovinazzi will pilot the No. 2 Nissan Onroak Dpi alongside regulars Scott Sharp and Ryan Dalziel at the Extreme Speed Motorsports team for the final round of the IMSA season. Giovinazzi previously raced for the team in the LMP2 category of the World Endurance Championship in China and Japan two years ago.
