Alonso: Monza "exposes weaknesses in our package"

Fernando Alonso has explained that his team McLaren will struggle in Monza, much like they did last weekend at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, as the circuit "exposes" the weaknesses of the MCL33. Last weekend at Spa was another weekend to forget for the papaya orange cars, with both drivers failing to get out of Q1 in qualifying, and Alonso being taken out in the first corner of the race, with Nico Hulkenberg pile-driving his Renault into the back of the Spaniard's papaya orange car.
