F1 2019 calendar confirmed

Formula 1 has released a proposed calendar for the 2019 season, including 21 races and the retention of the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim. The Japanese Grand Prix is also confirmed on the calendar, with Liberty Media having struck a new deal with Suzuka organisers. The 2019 campaign will run from March to December, with Liberty maintaining a record level of races next year - with plans afoot to expand the calendar further. The German Grand Prix's future had been in serious doubt in recent years, with the Nurburgring dropping off the calendar due to financial constraints, which had also affected the Hockenheimring.
