Alonso on Q2 battle with Magnussen: "a lot of fun"

Fernando Alonso has described a bizarre encounter during Q2 with Kevin Magnussen as "a lot of fun". The Spaniard was behind the Haas going into their final laps but got such a tow he was challenging the Dane for track position into the first chicane. Speaking to the media after being eliminated from qualifying, Alonso said that the incident was a shame as it ruined both drivers chances of making it into the final session. “We were all running together at the end of the out-lap and with all that traffic one of the Haas cars decided to overtake and start the lap in the middle of all the cars that were more or less in position," Alonso said. “So we started the lap...
