Wolff: It's not always a rational sport
The Italian Grand Prix ‘script' showed how unpredictable Formula 1 is, on Saturday evening at Monza it would have taken a brave man to wager against Ferrari winning their home race but instead, it was Mercedes who stole victory which astounded their team chief Toto Wolff. After witnessing Lewis Hamilton defeat the odds and Ferrari to claim a famous victory in Italy, a somewhat stunned Wolff told reporters, 'The win feels amazing because it reminds you why we are doing this. It's not always a rational sport where the quickest car wins. The racing happens on Sunday, and we came out with a one and three.'
