Horner: Ticktum ‘engages mouth before brain'
Red Bull boss Christian Horner has said Dan Ticktum has a lot more developing to do before he is 'anywhere near' a Formula 1 seat. A storm has been brewing in F3 as Red Bull junior driver Ticktum has seen his World Championship lead slip away and into the hands of Mick Schumacher, who is in red-hot form with five wins in his last six races. This prompted Ticktum to question Schumacher's sudden rise to the top before he deleted his accusations on Instagram. Ticktum has been on shortlist to drive for Toro Rosso next season, but Horner has suggested that is a long way down the line unless Ticktum can work on his flaws.
