Hartley penalised for Ocon collision

Brendon Hartley was hit with a five-second time penalty and two penalty points on his license after turning in on Esteban Ocon during the Mexican Grand Prix. Racing at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez on Sunday afternoon, Ocon found himself battling the Toro Rosso team-mates for position. That ended in tears for the Force India when he was given a healthy whack by Hartley and would later retire from the race. The stewards ruled that Hartley was 'wholly to blame for the collision' as he failed to 'leave sufficient room' for Ocon.
