Arrivabene lashes out at "false rumours" of Binotto exit at Ferrari

Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene has hit out at the media for creating “false rumours” of technical director Mattia Binotto leaving the team, saying the media are trying to “create instability” at the prancing horse. With Mercedes beating Ferrari to yet another title, reports came out that Binotto, who reportedly has a bad relationship with Arrivabene, was tempted to leave Ferrari for another F1 team. Binotto is seen as the main man behind Ferrari’s increased performance since the 2017 season, as he replaced Mercedes-bound James Allison in the middle of Ferrari’s winless 2016 season.
