Ericsson hopes qualifying showed his talents

Marcus Ericsson hopes that his strong qualifying performance in Brazil showed Sauber what they are giving up with his move away from F1 after being replaced at the team for 2019. The Swede out qualified his Ferrari-bound teammate Charles Leclerc and finished an impressive P7. With a grid penalty for Daniel Ricciardo being applied, Ericsson will start the Brazilian Grand Prix from sixth on the grid, just behind the big hitters in Mercedes, Ferrari and Verstappen.
