'Stroll came into F1 too early', suggests Lowe

Williams chief technical officer Paddy Lowe says that Lance Stroll probably jumped into Formula 1 earlier than was good for him. The Canadian driver was just 18 when he made his first appearance for the team in the 2017 Australian Grand Prix. The previous year he had emerged victorious in the FIA European Formula 3 series as its youngest-ever champion to date. But in hindsight, Lowe felt that making a jump all the way into Formula 1 had been too much for the then-teenager. "My personal view is that in hindsight he came into Formula 1 too early," Lowe told RACER magazine. "I think he would have been better to come a year later when he was better prepared," Lowe added....
