Sam Bird wins the 50th edition of Formula E

British driver Sam Bird has won the Hong Kong E-Prix after another race full of nose-to-nose racing. Edoardo Mortara and Lucas di Grassi completed the podium on Formula E's 50th edition. Stoffel Vandoorne started on pole but was forced into a retirement 15 minutes from the chequered flag. Felipe Massa finished inside the top 10 as two other former Formula 1 drivers collided together to bring out the red flag. Bird becomes the first multiple race winner of the season having won the Marrakesh E-Prix in January and he takes the championship lead.  Vandoorne, the former McLaren driver lost his lead in the opening corner.
