Are B-Teams a bonus or bane of F1?
Photo by: www.kymilman.com/f1 We haven’t spoken much about the concept of B-teams here at The Parc Fermé but I’m curious to get your opinions on the matter. An interesting point was made by Renault’s Cyril Abiteboul after the Australian Grand Prix in which he said: 'Just look at Toro Rosso, who in my opinion are likely to be the team to beat as far as we're concerned for the start of the season given where we are,' said Abiteboul of the Red Bull junior outfit. 'Toro Rosso had no technical director for most of last season. It's very clear what went on. So we don't even need a technical director to produce what is a very competitive car.
