Gasly draws optimism from Verstappen and Honda performances

Pierre Gasly has admitted he is taking positives from teammate, Max Verstappen’s performance at the Australian Grand Prix despite having difficult Red Bull debut himself as he finished outside the points. Gasly finished P11 in Melbourne after qualifying in 17th place and finished behind Daniil Kvyat who replaced him at Toro Rosso. On the flip side, Max Verstappen was able to secure his first podium in Australia as he overtook Sebastian Vettel to take P3 and even had Lewis Hamilton looking over his shoulder, as the Brit managed floor damage.
