Grosjean believes grid penalty cost Haas race points in Bahrain

Romain Grosjean retired from the Bahrain Grand Prix to bring his 2019 Formula 1 DNF tally to two out of two. The Frenchman had big contact in the opening stages of the race, and a puncture caused significant floor damage. Kevin Magnussen was also pointless in Bahrain, dropping Haas to 6th in the constructors' standings, level with McLaren. Grosjean picked up a grid penalty after holding up Lando Norris in qualifying. He believes he would have been able to bring home some points for the American team had this penalty not been awarded. "That’s always the risk when you start not where you want to start.
