I think it's safe to say that the 1000th World Championship event won't go down in the history books for being one of the most exciting! There was certainly a lot of hope and expectation before the race that the Ferrari vs Mercedes battle would be tight but as qualifying unfolded, it became increasingly clear that the red cars just weren't quick enough to fight against their German rivals. I had the chance to take a peek at the GPS data from the weekend which compared the Ferrari and Mercedes.
