Marko: Verstappen knows what's coming so no worries

Earlier this month Helmut Marko claimed that Max Verstappen and his father Jos were on the phone to Mercedes chief Toto Wolff on a regular basis (for obvious reasons) but the Red Bull consultant is adamant that the young Dutchman is committed to the team. Time has shown that patience is not a Verstappen virtue and in the aftermath of the reality check that, at the moment, Honda is no match for Mercedes or Ferrari it is no surprise that he and his minders are looking for alternatives. After the Chinese Grand Prix weekend, the Dutchman did not mince his words when he told reporters that he did not have the power at his disposal to challenge for victory or even a podium for that matter.
