Lance Stroll exclusive and SportPesa Racing Point deep dive
Among the changes and innovations for the 2019 Formula 1 season, one of the biggest was the confirmation of an entirely new team name – SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team. Born from the ashes of the old Force India outfit last summer, Racing Point's new identity was confirmed ahead of 2019, with Lance Stroll arriving to give the driver line-up a new look too. Stroll's father Lawrence fronted the consortium that brought the team out of administration last year and it is hoped that the new investment will help one of F1's traditional underdogs punch even further above its weight.
