Hamilton remembers ‘a bright light in my life'

Lewis Hamilton says he will miss the 'conversations, our laughs, the big hugs' following the death of triple World Champion Niki Lauda. Lauda fell ill last year leading to a lung transplant last August. The triple World Champion, who was badly burned in a near-fatal Formula One crash in 1976 and suffered lung injuries, struggled to recover and was again admitted to hospital in January with a bout of flu. Lauda, 70, passed away peacefully on Monday. Hamilton, who joined Mercedes in 2013 after being persuaded to by Lauda, says he will miss his friend. 'My buddy, I am struggling to believe you are gone,' Hamilton posted on Instagram. 'I will miss our conversations, our laughs, the big hugs...
