PHOTOS: Red Bull designed 'Aeroscreen' confirmed for IndyCar

Red Bull and IndyCar have confirmed that the 'Aeroscreen' cockpit protection device will be introduced to the American series in 2020. Red Bull also tested their concept in Formula 1, but the halo was selected instead at the start of last year. Christian Horner said: “Since the first prototypes were developed and demonstrated in 2016, the potential of Aeroscreen to improve the safety for drivers in the event of frontal impacts in the cockpit area of cars has been clear.
