Ricciardo believes 'brave' setup choices rewarded Renault

Monaco Grand Prix – After qualifying seventh for the Monaco Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo believes that 'brave' changes helped turn the Renault into a Q3 contender. Having originally struggled for pace on the streets of Monaco, Renault looked like they might fall behind their midfield rivals, but the team managed to get one car into the final part of qualifying, with Daniel Ricciardo settig the seventh-fastest time. Ricciardo has since been promoted to sixth on the grid following a grid-drop penalty for Red Bull's Pierre Gasly, who originally finished qualifying in fifth.
