Mercedes confirms Phase 2 engine for Canadian GP

Mercedes has confirmed that all six of its cars will run Phase 2 of its power unit at this weekend’s Canadian Grand Prix. Mercedes has dominated the 2019 Formula 1 season so far, with six successive wins, and has already established a 118-point buffer over Ferrari in the Constructors’ Championship. But Ferrari is widely regarded to possess the best engine, while Honda – which has linked up with Red Bull – has also made gains, taking its first podiums since returning to the sport.
